Corporate Philosophy
Our company, CERUBO, has a rich history extending over 60 years, originating from Hidakagu Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1962. Over these six decades, the world has undergone significant changes. The rise of the internet has allowed information to travel instantaneously across the globe.
Yet, nature itself has evolved slowly since ancient times. As a wooden furniture manufacturer, we consider coexisting with nature to be of utmost importance. While preserving traditions, we strive to blend functionality and design with the changing times, continuously aiming to create furniture that is admired and cherished. This is the essence of CERUBO’s vision.
Message from the President
Our company, CERUBO, has been operating in Vietnam for 23 years.
Initially, exported exclusively to the Japanese market, we now engage with
over 8 countries across Europe and Asia.
This success is a testament to the recognition of our manufacturing
technology and quality control.
Vietnam has a high potential workforce and is a country with great
prospects for growth. From our base in Vietnam, we are committed to
supplying CERUBO furniture worldwide and becoming a globally admired
and cherished brand.

About our group company HIDAKAGU
CERUBO’s parent company, Hidakagu Co., Ltd., is based in
Takayama, a city nestled at the foot of the Northern Alps and Mount
Norikura. Takayama, surrounded by mountains and situated in the
heart of the Hida region, is renowned for its traditional craftsmanship
and is famous for its Miyadaiku carpenters. This rich heritage
continues to influence many furniture manufacturers in the area.
The Hidakagu & CERUBO group operates with a well-coordinated
division of roles between our two primary manufacturing centers:
Takayama in Japan and Vietnam. This strategic approach allows us to
meet diverse customer demands with exceptional efficiency and
quality.
Contribution to SDGs: Sustainable
Business through Wood
Utilizing the Earth’s precious resource of wood, we aim to develop a renewable
business model that considers the SDGs. At our Vietnam factory, we obtained FSC
CoC certification in 2020 from an international forest certification organization.
We are also focused on improving energy efficiency. Our mission is to make the
most of available resources, and we are committed to promoting sustainability and
contributing positively to society.
